Chevrolet has had numerous documented complaints about transmissions in several models of new cars for the last 5 years, especially 01 and 02 models. I know of one lawsuit, and there have probably been more. If you are having problems that your local dealership cannot address, you should contact the Better Business Bureau. They have a special department dedicated to automobile disagreements. Good Luck!

Its the same trans thats used in all 1/2 ton trucks and vans,i have seen sun shells stripped out in some rear planetary fail ,but not many in trailblazers.

You can get the harness at WalMart or Best Buy. It connects to the aftermarket radio and then just plugs right in to the vehicles harness.....unless you already hacked it off. The thing only cost about $15.00 and makes the installation process a breeze.

Wound not surprise me. Had two chevy's that the trasmition went shot in.

Yes, transmission cooling line busted off radiator, transmission was slipping before I noticed any problem, transmission was shot. $2500 later, it works fine again. Not happy though.

My 99 went after 90 thou. and i took good care of it. oil and filter change at 50 thou. and never ran low on fluid.... just crap.. bring back the 350 and 400
