Great - but I failed.

Apparently they fail more people on a Friday

Well that was my excuse

Good luck!

I had some MOCK tests as lessons. I got to know some of the test routes. Ran through ALL the manouveurs at least once every lesson. A bit more on ones I could improve a bit more on. I had GREAT days & VERY BAD ONES too. It took me 5 goes to get through my test, but of the day before my 5th go, I went out for a hassel free non lesson with my dad, with a few manouveurs on the way back. I enjoyed it & it chilled me right out. Although I thought I may have blown it the next day, I keeped cool & corrected any mistakes quite quickly. I passed.
REMEMBER, a good nights sleep the night before & stay way from caffeine. It makes you hyper. I'm a coffee addict & without it the night before & morning of my test, I was a lot more calm.

GOOD LUCK.

Past both m/cycle and car first time but that was early 60s. I made mistakes, got questions wrong but if you were a natural behind the wheel, the examiner is going to feel safe in the knowledge that you're a good driver and pass you, so dont be nervous. You young ones have the motorways, congested traffic and everyone,s in a bloody hurry to worry about. Let's face it, driving should be natural for anyone with a modicum of intelligence. Please young drivers....... we have seen enough flowers taped to lamp-posts and trees ! slow down.

Horrible. Too many lessons to count. Paid for by my now rather poor Grandad. 4 tests to pass/4 crashed cars since. Quite good now though. Mirror, signal...

High school classes. 5 students and teacher drove to McDonald's 2 x a week. I only got to drive once every 2 to 3 weeks. failed first test, passed 2 nd.. most learning came from mom and dad.

i did really well in my lessons but the test was dreadful. i was over excited and failed. but i did it in style, 2 serious and a dangerous. the examiner had to use his break so hard he actually bent the pedal. i passed second time though and i was nervous that time round. so for me at least its better when nervous a bit. im sure youll be fine. good luck

Well, I'm in the middle of my lessons. My instructer has always got his feet covering the break and clutch to help me. This is petty shite really as he's not helping me learn by doing this!!
