i loan her £300 for downpayment for car ins,,,she crashed the car i cancelled the ins now she don't want to pay it back

just simply tell her that if she did not pay your money back...then you would call the police..

If you have a promissory note or any other form of proof that she borrowed the money then take her to small claims court. If you don't have any proof then you really cannot do anything about it. If you don't have any proof then get some. Have her leave you a message or email her and ask her why she hasn't paid you back the $300 you lent her and if she replies back acknowledging that she borrowed it or says that she will pay you but doesn't have the money or something like that then, you print it out and you've got your proof for small claims court.

I had to learn the hard way when it came to lending or giving a family member money, that I know I will never see again, don't make the mistake of lending or giving money to anyone the odds are you will not get it back, friends/family can be users, sometimes you don't even know where the money really went either, experienced that too..

You can sue her in small claims court. You would have to provide proof that you lent her the money and that she agreed to pay it back.

take her to the police station and she must make affidavit that she promise to pay on such a date, if still not paid,you can take her to small claim court.
