Gear shift wont come out of park. I have to use my key to use the safty switch to get the car out of park. What could be the problem. I have played with the fuse and when I wiggle it, the shift comes out of park sometimes. There is nothing wrong with the fuse it self (tested it). Do I have to put it in another way or do I have a bigger problem. ANY HELP!

I added to much oil and the oil pressure went all the way up to high and i drove it home and the next day my husband took out all the oil then replaced it with the correct amount, but it still shows as high. Now it's making a noise and we don't know what to do or what it may be. It's just been sitting in our drive way for about a week. We can't afford to take it to the dealership right now. He lost his job and i'm the only one working.

So I was just thinking today, and a question struck my mind and I didn't have an answer for it. so here it is

Lets say one year a car company makes 20,000 of a certain type of car, and sends them out to all sorts of dealers, but the dealers only sell 17000 of them in that year, and the company is already comming out with a newer model the following year, meaning 3000 cars are left.
These 3000 cars are brand new, no mileage no nothing,What happens to them?
Do the dealers drop prices on them?
Are they redistributed to other dealers?
are they sent to a warehouse somewhere where they are sold for cheaper prices?

what are the chances of this actually happening?

I lost the owner's manual and have called several shops including Dodge dealerships. They have their kind but don't know anything about it, such as kinds I can purchase at your local parts dealer.

My father knows nothing about cars and well he proceeded to add about a quart of oil to the transmission. (2004 Chevrolet Cavalier). It seems that know it does have the same acceleration and smooth shifting as before.....how can doing this affect the trans. It can possibly render the tranny useless??? I plan to sell my 98 Magna this year, and would like to know when would be a good time to start listing it? I live in Wisconsin which means riding season for the majority of us doesn't start until April or May.

I can list it on the free sites at any time, but I don't want to waste money on $ ads until the optimum time.
