I lost the owner's manual and have called several shops including Dodge dealerships. They have their kind but don't know anything about it, such as kinds I can purchase at your local parts dealer.

you can use dex-3 automatic trans fluid in the transaxle.sounds weird i know, but the lighter manual transmissions dont need the heavy 80/90 oil.

ATF+4 is correct. I have read that Mopars use automatic transmission fluid in manual transmissions because it has better lubricating qualities at temperature extremes, lubricates the tighter tolerance transmission parts better, flows better and of course standardizes the use of transmission fluid for assembly and maintenance.
