i have a chevy astro van that is starting to act up. when i drive down the street it will start to loose power(spit and sputter) and then die or try to die. Does anyone out there have any idea what it may be. it is a 1989 model..could it be the fuel injector, fuel pump,or fuel filter? I just got it home from dying on me and my husband sprayed carb cleaner into the carbutiator and it finally started but tried to die while he drove it home.... thank you for any help you can give me....

and really scared me. My fluid was low due to a leak. Is this serious? How do I find the leak without it costing me so much? Can I go on an 8 hour trip if I keep filling the fluid....it will be very hard to get my car into a service shop this close to a holiday. Thanks!

This morning while driving for work, I was coming up a hill and almost completly through my green light, when CRASH! A patrole car with no sirens, only lights, runs the red light and smashes into my rear end passenger side. She rushes out of the car (never asks if i am okay, just says GIVE ME YOUR INFORMATION!) I, on the other hand, a litttle frustrated and shooken, questioned her rush...and said "Aren't you supposed to...slow down...before running your red lights?!" Her response was a simple "EXCUSE ME?!?!" with lots of attitude. I, even more mad said "AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO SLOW DOWN BEFORE RUNNING A RED LIGHT?!!?" and she cockily said back "I am in pursuit of an armed robbery and THATS much more important."

What in the world do i do now?!

Aw shucks, price of gas is falling, so I MUST go out and buy a 8 MPG hog...

Aw shucks, I feel so much better now that I stopped drinking...maybe I'll just stop off at the bar on my way home from work...for just 1 cold one.

As Americans, we just don't know when to say when, or when to stop, or that a lottery ticket is a poor way to make $$.

God help us, really.

That is to say, get rid of weapons bay or anything that is weapon related. Then use all the space available to put in all those luxuries and conference halls and stuff.

Reason I am asking is because 747 is a commercial aircraft and does not have special features to deal with any incoming threats (the Air Force One is not always accompanied by fighters, is it?)

But with B-1B's high speed (though the cancelled B-1A is better in my opinion), or B-2's unrivalled stealth tech, wouldn't it be safer to fly one of those? And they are also better representatives of US's dignity and might...

Or is it not possible just because bombers are simply too cramped for luxuries of Air Force One?

In France, 99% of the drivers drive stick shifts. In america, you mainly drive (probably 95%), automatic transmission.

Have you ever learnt (in driving schools for instance) to drive a manual transmission. You'd control more you car.

Would you also happen to know how to go about getting the amount of fluid to proper level, is there a drain plug?

Having checked the level yesterday, I noticed it was above the MAX fill line. The last time the transmission was serviced was about a year ago and maybe about 5000miles driven.

Thank you for any information and help you can send my way.

My gf's car dies when her AC is on high and she comes to a stop. Supposedly there was some problem with Celebrities that caused this. Personally, it just sounds like it's idling too low, but the car sounds great when idleing, so I'm not entirely.

Any suggestions?

I have a Pontiac GTO and it doesn't have any special mount or spot for a front license plate. I am going to move to another state where I need a front plate, but I don't want to drill any holes into the front of my car. Is there a special type of bracket that would attach underneath or through the grill of my car so I wouldn't have to do any permanent damage to it?

The head light on the passenger side of my 1992 Honda Accord LX burned out....I bought a replacement, attempted to change it and that is where the fun starts.
How on earth do I get to the lamp to remove the old one? The battery is in the way, so you can't get your hand between it and the back of the lamp!
There has to be a way for me to do this.....it's just a removal of one bulb to switch it with another for crying out loud...

I don't want to take it to a shop just to change the lamp....what's a girl to do?
Anyone have any tips for me?
