The noise only happens every once and a while and only when i accelerate.

Well if it isn't the mouse that got caught in the drive shaft I would guess you need to use some penetrating oil on the rear springs and rubber lube on the bushings. Also take a good hard look at the condition of the u-joints.

A seal in distress.Lots of seawater+salmon should remedy the situation.If not then try backing up to the local yocals' with a good sense of humor and a plan for a quick escape.

Talking about drive shafts... make sure yours is well lubricated and has no lateral movement( non what so ever)
