Almost the same thing happened to my sister a couple of years back, we bought some Febreeze auto spray and we sparyed it everywhere! Then get a really good smelling air-freshener and put it on you're rear-view mirror. That is the cheapest way I can think for you to help this problem w/ out going to the detail shop.
Hope it help!
Good Luck

Vinegar! i know it'll smell bad for 1-2 days, but it will eventually leave, and the fish smell will go along with it! trust me... happened more than once!... if you don't want to go to that extreme, moisten your trunk liner or carpet, and freely spread Baking Soda over it, this will absorb the smell - let dry for a few days then vacuum....

I'd try some store bought carpet cleaner and scrub it really good and then use a shop vac to remove any excess water. Then maybe sprinkle some baking soda in there after it dries.
