Heres some advice look into getting your license in an airplane. Helicopters are VERY VERY expensive to learn to fly. I know a guy who was flying a R22 with instructor for 200+ an hour. Then if you step up to the R44, its 400+ an hour. Good luck getting a loan or aid for that. However, getting your license in an aircraft will be in the neighborhood of 5000$. Then, if flying is the thing for you, you can venture into helicopters. Good luck

Not sure about which are the best schools in that area, but you may want to look into Pilot Finance. Its a company that helps with the financial burden of becoming a pilot - very similar to financial aid for college.

The best location to learn how to fly helicopters must be South Africa. If you live abroad and happen to be earning dollars or pounds, your best bet would be to invest your training time and money in South Africa. The exchange rate would be ideal for these type of currencies. Besides, they rated as having some of the best flying schools in the world. Also try funding your PPL with your own funds and once you've achieved this you can always turn to the private sector or family and friends for sponsorship to get your CPL. In this way people can see that you managed to get half way on your own.

There are dozens of solid ones. do not enable anybody convince you there's a "best" one. the finest college for you relies upon on your desires and alternatives. some people like tremendous universities or those positioned in metropolitan parts. Others favor small faculties or those in rural parts. scholar existence and curriculum and crew are as major because the flight software. do not fool your self into questioning that a school the position another professor has a PhD is an outstanding college. those with more advantageous ranges many times don't have a lot genuine international operating adventure outdoors of academia. Smaller faculties with staffs that are not especially degreed many times have professors with a lot more effective "genuine international" market adventure. you may want to favor to p.c.. a school that strikes a stability. i can call diverse small faculties that in my opinion are far more effective (and fewer expensive) than most of the more effective "authentic rated" ones. contained in the flying employer, the position you went to school or realized to fly is ultimately of little or no value. p.s. you do not favor an aviation degree to be triumphant as a pilot. There are solid arguments adverse to getting a non-aviation degree, or a minimum of a non-specialist pilot degree like "aeronautical technology". Having a potential "backup plan" in case a flying occupation doesn't exercising consultation for you is purely ordinary sensible. It takes position.
