My engine temp moves fast enough that my temp gauge was almost describable as bouncing today. It also took an unusually long time for the truck to heat up. I checked the oil and am waiting for the truck to cool to check the coolant. The truck never overheated it just got warm and cold ridiculously fast. I was driving 55 mph and its about 60 degrees out on a clear day so its not environmental.

The pulldown motor does not work. I cannot find a used one and a new one cost more than the car is worth. I just want to close the trunk (so it doesn't get wet when it rains) and never open it again.

Now I'm looking to possibly sell it for parts and I need someone to give me an idea of what I could get. If I price it too high, I get no one interested. I don't want to price it too low either.
So I am asking some smart people to help me on this.
This is it: a 1995 Dodge Grand Caravan. Good Tires. Front tires only a few months old. (won't fit the new van)
Radio/clock doesn't work (I'm thinking possibly a loose wire because once or twice I have seen it the clock come on but it only stayed a sec)
Everything else is fine.
It is 6 cyl.
It aslo has a hitch. It is a few a year or two old but it's never been used. (we didn't get the trailer we were hoping for)
So does someone smart have an idea of what I could get for it? Maybe I am advertising it wrong. I mean after all the money we have spent in the last 8 yrs on repairs, tires, what have you, I hate to send it to a junk yard for $25.
Got any ideas?

Both my collegues just puchased Honda Accord. Both 98 Model, one 4 cyc and the other is V6. They purchased in the span of a months gap in between. We just figured out that I can use the key from the 4cyc Accord to open all doors including the trunk of the 6cyc accord and vice versa. The only thing that we cannot do is to start the car because it has the transponder unit attached to the key... any ideas?? I am not sure what the hell is happening here..

We are wanting to install a remote starter. It has the option for both drivers to set their own settings IE, seat, mirrors, everything. We have two remotes for this but they don't have the start option. Is there a remote that will incorporate all of these things?

It's a used 1997 model, but it only has 115,000 miles on it. I would like to hear comments from people who have owned one for at least 5-years. It's a really clean car, and looks like it's been taken care of. Also, it's a V-8 model, what kind of gas mileage should i expect? Hopefully at least 17-18 MPG.

Just had oil changed and air filter changed. I was just driving when I thought I smelled smoke. I then noticed a big trail of smoke was coming from my tailpipe. Not sure of the color but it smelled like burning oil. Taking into garage. I turned off the car and it seemed to be fine after a few minutes I drove another ten miles to work without another incident.

Sorting out my Mazda's front nearside shock/strut and after removing coil spring etc resistance is more going up than pushing down! In fact if left to its own devices, the thing just sort of tiredly slips down without a sound on its own! Presumably it's shot....is it? No rattly noises off it and no evidence of oil/lubrication leak - but it does look prettly old & manky!
