My transmission is leaking. It leak at front bearing. It leaks only when the car is running. The mechanic guy told me that I have to replace it with a used transmission. What can I do? Can I seal it or do I have to buy a used transmission. How can I add fluid? What type of fluid do I need to add? Where to add the fluid? Thanks guys.

hi my 2000 Toyota Celica GTS is having a problem with acceleration. When I start the car after it has sat for a few hours it has absolutely no acceleration even though I am slamming on the gas. After the car has run for about a minute it starts to gain more power. What is wrong with my car? Also I just got a new engine and transmission for the car because the car had been flooded (It was doing this problem before the flood as well as after). Please help me!

I am looking to buy a car and found a 1991 BMW 750 IL for 1500$
It has 133k miles and fully loaded. There are a few problems with it however. The AC is out because it leaked freon (sp?), and it leaks oil out of the valve covers. How big of a problem is the oil leak to the over all condition of the car and about how much would it cost to fix on average? The same with the AC? With these problems and a few cosmetic blemishes (Head liner drooping in a few places, small dent in drivers door, paint not perfect) how good is this deal? Thanks for your informed answers.

I keep reading articles that say hybrid vehicles are much better for the environment by using much less gasoline and producing far fewer emmisions. I understand that the vehicles themselves produce far fewer emmisions and get better mileage. What I want to know is how much more pollution are we generating in other ways as a result of using hybrid vehicles. Some hybrids are charged using a standard electrical outlet. The electricity comes from a power plant that can be burning coal, natural gas, trash, etc. Has anyone calculated how much each charge equals in pollution at the power plant? If you combine that pollution with the hybrid vehicle pollution, is it REALLY better for the environment? What about the batteries? All batteries contain heavy metals and / or acids, and all batteries eventually die and need replacing. How much energy are we wasting manufacturing new batteries and what is happening to the heavy metals & acids when the old batteries die? Any info would be appreciated.

It seems that many states require you to relinquish your prior state's drivers license when you move. Is there any federal law on this issue? I have found information on the web about states linking their CDL licenses data but not regular drivers licenses.
