Which motor of this year do you reccomend for reliability and durability?? Thanks

Don't know about 98.
My 95 4.6 SOHC has over 150,000 miles and has never had the seal broke on it.

It's a pretty safe bet that nobody is going to recommend a 3.8 for a Mustang. The 4.6 is more durable and more reliable even if you don't need the power because you won't be working it near as hard as a 3.8.

Go with the V8 (4.6L). The V6's (3.8L) are way underpowered. Mostly, their for chicks... J/K...
