As winter is coming, make sure you have a winter survival kit in case you break down. Also take blankets,water,some food,a shovel in case you get stuck, providing you are going some place where there is snow. Lastly, a cell phone can always come in handy. Enjoy your trip!

who else is in the car? When its just me I pack a cooler full of easy snacks, string cheese, apple slice bottles of water and caffeine drinks for at night, and sandwhiches so I do not have to stop for fast food.
When I have my kids I pack new coloring books, colored pencils (crayons melt), puzzles and hand held electronic games in addition to the same snacks and food. No soda except for the driver to stay awake. No goldfish or pringles due to crumbs. Oh and Benedryl redi melts - knoks 'em out, QUICK.
