Now I'm looking to possibly sell it for parts and I need someone to give me an idea of what I could get. If I price it too high, I get no one interested. I don't want to price it too low either.
So I am asking some smart people to help me on this.
This is it: a 1995 Dodge Grand Caravan. Good Tires. Front tires only a few months old. (won't fit the new van)
Radio/clock doesn't work (I'm thinking possibly a loose wire because once or twice I have seen it the clock come on but it only stayed a sec)
Everything else is fine.
It is 6 cyl.
It aslo has a hitch. It is a few a year or two old but it's never been used. (we didn't get the trailer we were hoping for)
So does someone smart have an idea of what I could get for it? Maybe I am advertising it wrong. I mean after all the money we have spent in the last 8 yrs on repairs, tires, what have you, I hate to send it to a junk yard for $25.
Got any ideas?

The sad truth has dropped into your lap. A 95 Dodge Caravan is only of parts value to a select few old Caravan owners. Even though the individual parts have a value on the market, the labor of parting the car out and disposing of the remains makes the 25 dollar offer attractive. You will never get the money you put in a car back. Just let it go....

My suggestion is to jack it up and put it on blocks, take off the hitch and run an ad to the effect of "for sale: one trailer hitch and four wheel and tires size P205/70R15" (for example) and then sale it to a junk yard for scrap.

That's about the best you can do.

Throw it on EBay with a starting bid of $25. Make sure you say you buy it, you own it and just don't come & pick off parts and leave the carcass. Anything beyond the opening bid is gravy. Mmmmm....gravy........

Put it on eBay. I bet you get about $150 at least. Make sure you describe it accuratly and take lots of pictures. Make sure you let them know it needs to be towed and you will not deliver.
