I have had my license for about 2 years, but my parents started me after one year because they wanted my insurance to go down. Ok so here's what happened. I was at a stop sign trying to turn left on an 4 lane road. I look to my left and saw a car but it seemed far enough, but that was because I quickly glanced at it. I look to my right and the other lane was clear. I pull out and all of a sudden I see the car I spotted to my let earlier very close to me. I hear the brakes screech and I floor my car to get out of the way. I felt so terrible afterwards. This is the first major mistake I've made in driving. I haven't been able to cope with this well enough. I have taken the intersection several times before with no problem. I took it once again today and did it correctly, but it feels so much more difficult. I feel down now that I get behind the steering wheel. I don't know what I should do to get over this. Any advice is much appreciated.

I have a 1994 Z28 Camaro that I'm trying to integrate my iPod into. The setup is: 2 Diamond 12" Subs, Kenwood 1000W amplifier, Kenwood head unit, Kenwood iPod interface, 60GB iPod.

I have everything hooked up, but I don't know what to do with the iPod. I want it to be visible and easily accesible by me. It can't be in the glovebox, because my glovebox is a pain in the *** and only opens with a key.

A little while ago I noticed my brakes would no longer turn off my cruise control.... I didn't really think much of it because I would just press the 'off' button. Then yesterday I realized that my brake lights weren't turning on. So I figured there must be a connection.... that something in my brakes aren't letting the rest of my car's electrical system know that I'm braking. Does anyone know what this could be? I'm going to take it somewhere to fix it but I wanted to know if there was anyone in here with a professional opinion so I could ask questions over the phone and compare prices.

BTW, my car's a stick shift '97 Mustang

I love my Plymouth Neon, however, I find that most cigarette lighter adapters are too large to fit in my lighter. Does anyone know if there are any devices which I can insert into the cigarette lighter or put on the end of an adapter to make a fit?

When the jets hit the WTC wouldn't all the fuel have been ignited and consumed instantly. However the 911 commission report said the fuel traveled all the way down the elevator shaft that was Supposedly sealed.....and then blew up! Doesn't make any sence, can someone please explain?

The guy that hit me lied and said he has insurance and he really doesn't. So State Farm sent him a letter about other coverage. He has two weeks to respond. In the mean time I am stuck with this messed up car that gets rained into and my doors don't close properly on the passengers side. Will I have to pay my deductible? If so will I be reimbursed? Is it a good idea to go with the body shop recommended by the insurance company?

Hi!

Ok... it is time to buy a new family vehicle. What are your recommendations?

Criteria:
Around or under $28,000 if possible...
Good on Gas...
Good for long trips....
Enough space for my 300+ pound husband, myself, two five-year old kids, one aunt, one large dog and two prissy cats...
Either front wheel drive, four wheel drive, or all wheel drive... (has to do well in ice/snow)...
Six cylinders...
Automatic or Manual... doesn't matter...

Looking forward to your recommendations. What is listed here is what I will look at first this weekend....

Thanks...
Best Wishes...
T.

They are flying off the new car lot like crazy, you can't get a discount off of MSRP and forget about good deal on financing.

I don't know how to do both, so if I go to a school to learn how to drive cars will it help ?
There are only schools that teach how to drive cars in my town , but there are no schools for riding motorcycles , It seems it is too easy for the rest of the people so there are no schools for it.
Or is it totally irrelevant and unrelatd and won't help me to learn how to ride ?

I saw it at night passing above the highway I was driving on ( I-81 in W.V.). There were bright lighted spot lights all over the cars, which appeared to be box shaped. There seemed to be quite a few cars on this train as well.

Recently the timing belt on my car broke and when it broke some of the valves were damaged. The dealer fixed all of it but when I got my car back it would run really rough unless I was accelerating fast. I hit a pothole and all of a sudden it started running normal again but there is still a whine coming from the engine compartment that is especially noticable when idling. It sounds pulley related.

I own a 95 honda prelude. I've been having overheating problems for quite a while, but no mechanic seems to be able to fix it, though that doesn't stop them from charging me, of course. Recently it has been okay after some major work, but in the last couple of days I've noticed coolant has stopped being put through the radiator- the coolant resivor is still full, when normally it uses it up quickly. I checked the lines to the radiator and from radiator to the engine, and they aren't clogged. What gives? Would getting my oil changed in the meantime help keep the engine cooler, also? I know there's still a major heat problem but this thing with not using the coolant is new.
