i have a 95 baretta and i am installing a amp and subs and a car deck.i have a pioneer deh 3800, i was wondering if a pontiac faceplate that is already around my deck would fit in the car ?
i think the grand am is like a 95 or something.

another part of question is , do you have to hook ur amp up to the battery terminal? how does that work for all the other car electrical equipement?

You're going to get a new dash kit, the 95 grand am and the 95 baretta different. As far as the amp question, the best place to run the power for your amp is the battery terminal, it shouldn't affect any of your other electrical equipment unless your are using a big amp. If you notice your lights dimming or anything of that sort try adding a capacitor or two (1 farad for ever 500rms) or even a deep cycle battery (if you leave your system on a lot while the car isn't running).

should fit and you should not have to buy any other stuff to compensate for power unless you are going to go crazy with subs and speakers. depending on the size of sub and speakers

part 2--- yes and it really don't do too much

If you are doing this for the first time I would recommend you go get it installed that way it could be covered by warranty.
