I am a frequent flyer from KMCN to KATL via Comair and ASA; the usual equipment is a CRJ, either the -200 or -700 variant. On the northbound flight (usually AM), the flight is typically very quiet - conversation is easy at a normal tone of voice. On the southbound flight, however (usually PM), once the plane exits the departure pattern, there's a very definite - and very LOUD - flow noise that starts up and stays with us until the pilots throttle back and extend flaps for approach. The noise is so loud as to inhibit conversation anywhere on the craft. These flights are short - 10-15 minutes, and if I had to guess, I'd say they operate in the neighborhood of FL90. I haven't been able to correlate presence or absence of the noise with variant type, operator, age, or any factor other than northbound vs. southbound. Any ideas? Thanks!

This will be for an elderly gentleman's vehicle that is being sold before his death. Can I, as his power of attorney & impending executor of his estate, handle this and the repossession of the vehicle when payment is not made?

I have a car that has just been sitting for awhile and I think the gas in the tank has turned to sludge. Is there something that I can pour into the tank to return the gas to normal? Or as normal as I can get it?

I have a 1999 Mustang. When I run the A/C I can see liquid running down onto the floor on the passenger side. On a long enough trip the entire floor is soaked on that side of my car, even behind the seat. The liquid does not seem to have a color or an odor so I have assumed that it is simply condensation from the A/C. Is this a big problem?

Does anyone here know why the steering wheel on my 1995 Lincoln Town Car is extremely tight, making it hard to make turns, i have to force it really hard. Some times, it'll turn perfectly fine, but most of the time I have to struggle. I usually ck the power steering fluid, and i fill it regularly, so right now its full. What is causing this? Thank u in advance for any help!

hi everyone. i have a 1996 chevy camaro Z-28 that my dad and i both think the engine locked up on. i was headed to school this morning and the engine raced up to 3000 rpms and then died. i pulled over to the side of the road and tried to start it again and it only cranked but was real sluggish. my dad showed up and we tried to start it again and all it did was was 1 crank sound and nothing else. it wouldn't crank at all. we tried jumper cables to make sure it wasn't the battery, but the battery is fine. we recently had the transmission rebuilt and spent almost 1500 dollars. we are both afraid the engine is locked up. does anyone maybe have suggestions on what it is??? Thanks!!! :)

I believe there shouldnt be any problem switching from regular gas to premium, i have been using regular unleaded since years but now gas is cheaper so i am going to use premium for better performance. does anyone know if premium 93 does make any diffrence or its about the same as regular unleaded? currently i am experincing some knocking and pinging sound from my cars engine i guess its due to regular gas so any comment?

Why do we allow ourselves to be ripped of at garages, if you happen to stop at a motorway service station, firstly the prices are a disgrace, and second the food has been under those awful lights for I don't know how long, and tastes of cack...then if you go to the petrol side and buy a sandwich or drink they are more than 50% higher than anywhere else, and yet people still insist on buying, I say boycott them , this way they would be forced to charge a more realistic price...
Do you agree, and are you like me fed up with them, oh and I am a trucker, so I know what I am talking about..
I feel better now !!!

Today on my way to the store, I was using my air conditioner, the gage for my temperture was not running hot, but a red light came on saying I was low on coolant. I cut off the airconditioner and went on to the store, after I came back to my vehicle, I used the air conditioner on the way home and the light did not come on again. Do I need to put more coolant in my car or just keep an eye out to see if the red light comes on again
