You don't. You have to go in to renew a drivers license and take the test. Unless they mail your license to you. That happens if you have a perfect driving record and are over 21 years of age.This pertains to California.

Go on line to your local Highway Patrol DMV and fill in the necessary application on line. If it is your first time doing it on line it is free. You must have the same address as on your license. If you moved they will not do it. Georgia adopted it, but I am not sure on any other States.

u can...u just have to look up the dmv in your state..go to that website..i think that u have to receive a letter in the mail lettin u know that u are eligible to renew online.
