My car is choking up bad.It will runs for a few blocks and then choke or die.You can sit in the drive way push the gas 2 or 3 times and it chokes.Tried gas treatment and fuel filter chang-was filthy.Got a LITTLE better after EGR replacement.What could this be?

clutch seems ok. other gears fine. have to get into first by pushing down gear lever (like to get into reverse)

is it the linkages or what? thanks

altenator checked. When they test drove it they blew a head gasket. It is under 18000 mile warranty. I went to dealership and they would not give me a loaner car. Car rentals were closed or out of cars. I lost $177 in wages as I couldn't work Sat and Sun night. Do I have grounds to get a lawyer?

this motor has very good compression. compression isnt a prob. is there any advise on a "port" 2 stroke that i can use to try and get this thing to run?? btw thanks morris for letting me know that this motor doesnt necessarily have a reed valve.

my fuel mix is exact to specifications on the bottle. and is mixed with fresh gas. will motor not start at all if reed valve is not present? i have a second motor i use for parts and it doesnt have a reed valve either. also the magneto seems to have a very strong magntic pull to the housing. are all magnetos like this?

I just bought a new car and found out the next day it has a roach problem. I have sprayed all kinds of stuff and put roach motels everywhere and I am out of ideas. I have took the interior apart and cleaned it and everything. The roaches have gotten smaller and there seems to be a lot less of them, but they are still there. Help!

i have great spark and compression. fuel is getting to the cylinder. but i still cant get the engine to fire up. it doesnt seem like this motor has ever had a reed valve. do all 2 strokes have a reed valve? this motor is 49cc goped scooter motor. exhaust pipe is also clean and clear. can anyone help me with this nightmare???

All of a sudden, it is extremely difficult to shift into different gears, not having much knowledge on the mechanical workings of a car, I am wondering whether there are cables that can be adjusted, and is the clutch hydraulic?
