All of a sudden, it is extremely difficult to shift into different gears, not having much knowledge on the mechanical workings of a car, I am wondering whether there are cables that can be adjusted, and is the clutch hydraulic?

could be the clutch is worn out and a new one needs to be installed( along with throwout bearing and pressure plate) or if its a hydraulic clutch, the oil reservoir is empty. have someone check the latter, could be a cheap fix
