my tempature gage goes from 100 to 260. After a while the line goes dead center and stops. I'm assuming this means the tempature is approximately 180 degrees. Now it's no where near the "RED" zone, but when I turn my heat on it instantly goes down closer to 100. Is this normal? This isn't someting I've ever payed much attention too, but I just bought this car and checking things out. It's a '99 Monte Carlo LS. Thanks!!!!

I am sorry ,but I have more questions.
it is about a/c systems in the same buick 1997 regal.
Q.: what could be the reason for the kompressor to click
on and off in two-three second interval.new kompressor,new
high pressure switch,new dryer,new orifice tube.is it possible
that the ambient temperature sensor bad?

I have a CR250. It has a 330 big bore kit, with stroker crank. Boyesen rad valves and mikuni carborator. Kand N air filter with FMF exhaust. And I can't keep it from fouling out my spark plugs. I've tried all types of jets and it runs rich with oil in the gas. What can be causing this and how can I fix this? I use klotz mixing oil mixed 50 to 1 and required. Thanks.

I just got a '96 mazda mellinia, it runs well. My air condition systems but the only problem is its not giving out any heat, I have taken it to the several machanic shop and I have been told that it could be my heater coil. Auto store like pet boys and autozone say they dont have a heater coil in stock and they done even sell it. As you all know the winter weather is very close, and am wondering how and where to fine a heater coil. I have contacted some mazda dealers in my area but they planing to order it for me for a very large amount, therefore if any one have an idea of how I can get a heater coil for my '96 mazda mellinia, hit me up and let me know. I will greatly appreaciate any help in this regards. Its a '96 mazda mellinia, 2.3L supercharged.

I want to stop a leaking rivited aluminum boat (old boat) from leaking. I use the boat as a duck boat -5-6 times per year. I heard that some people have fiberglassed the leaking area. Does this work. If so, I would like to know how to fiberglass. The job does not have to look pretty, just functional.

I have a mouse in my car, specifically in the heater box or/and heater duct work.?

when i turn the heater on it makes a whining noise like its being restricted, plus i hear a bunch of crap moving around in there that sound like little pine nuts or something, and finally to top it off there is a awful smell associated with it coming thru the vents. arrrrrrrrggghhhhhh--i should have know better i had the car parked in the garage with my snowmobile and they alreay ate the air filter on my sled, now this--grrrrrrrrrr--PLEASE HELP!!!!! I have a tilt steering column at it is very loose. Took steering wheel off but didn't want to go any further without help. But put back on to go to work use turn signal horn goes off (real fun).
1. How do I tighten the steering
2. By tightening the steering will that help my horn problem
Oh yea when I turn the steering the stereo shuts off.

I have a 1986 GSXR 1100 and it is grind when I try and start it, any ideas on what that is, how hard is it to change a starter which I assume it is and also any way to bypass the starter to make sure that is what it is. It tries to start but makes a terrible grind/screech sound when I turn the key. Please help!!! Thank you.

If you run a red light that has a camera to take your picture how long does it take before you recieve the ticket in the mail? i dont live in a very big city maybe 70K people its not NYC or LA its a small city in texas so how long on average? im not sure if it took my picture and im worried about it i was over the line barely but there was a traffic jam up ahead and i was slowing down to be caustious about the traffic jam and when i look up i was rolling through a red light.

If I go two short blocks(this has a manual trans.so with a little two stepping on the gas I can keep it running) everything is usually ok. No codes are present but I've monitored the IAC and coolant sensor on cold start and things seem normal (new IAC installed). All summer things were ok. I've heard that carbon can cause cold start and driveability issues so I've put Chevron Techron in the gas (haven't used the full tank yet) and it feels like it is running better but then again it always ran fine hot and gets good fuel mileage.Before this problem started this thing never ran at high idle for more than a few seconds on a cold start no matter how cold it was. This is not a big deal but the stalling has made my remote start kinda useless. Any body have any experience with such a problem your help would greatly appreciated. Dave

I own a Chevy Cavalier and want to add speakers into the trunk, leaving the factory one in and just adding a box with 4 speakers into the back, problem is the store told me I needed an amplifier, but saw the price and said no way to that. So my question is is there any way to bypass the amplifier and go straight from the radio/cd player into the speakers directly? I think it is, just don't know how!!!

After of 4+ hours of flight with a small aircraft in complicated meteo conditions I start making some stupid mistakes. The landing is still ok; I've got 150 hours by now. Am I a lousy pilot? Will I do less such mistakes with more experience or is it a diagnosis for life? It is a dream of my life to make a career as a pilot, I will fight for it but those dumb errors now really disturb me. Hope the answers won't take away my belief in better life. Thank you in advance.
