Clean out the heater ducts behind the dash and set some traps. You'll finally get Mr. Mouse.
Next winter, put out moth balls by the hundreds in the engine compartment and a few inside the car.
Rodents don't like em'.

Do these two things and if one doesn't work the other one will...simple really....just bait some mouse traps with peanut butter and set 2-3 in the car. If mouse has access to them he'll investigate and then you know what happens. Other thing you can try are moth balls. Buy a box of mothballs and place some in a bolw inside the car. Would you want to breathe that continuously? Neither do mice. The inside of the car will smell of moth balls for a while but will dissipate eventually. I've had teen-age girls smell the inside of my 63 and 67 Novas and tell me "we just love this new car smell"....when in reality it was the mothballs they were smelling...hehehe!

I second the moth ball thing, and as well we have used pine air freshener, the little tree kind or whatever.. they hate it for some reason and move out. The key is overload it, like three of them in there so even you're ready to pass out from the scent...

Oh, and I hate to say this... But 'mouse' usually means 'mice'... I hope not!
Good luck!

Call your local pest control and ask. Tell them the situation and ask for suggestions. If they say "Well we'll have to come take a look." Don't dig it. If you know you have mice (mice droppings, obvious disrepair) then they should have some kind of heelpful information over the phone. If no one is willing to give advice over the phone, the other option of having them come out is yours, but don't pay too much.

Get the nest cleaned out and stick Moth balls in its place that will keep them away. I used to be in service at car dealerships before my accident and I've seen a few of these situations

Well I have never heard of this before but Im guessing you are not the only one this has happened too, maybe take it to a mechanic and let them take care of it?
