There was also no detent cable on this set up. Just a vacuum plug over the rod in the trans housing.I did a little interstate run in the truck like this. Would a missing cable cause a totals trans meltdown?

I carry a lot of art supplies, canvases, etc. so need something like a station wagon for storage, but would prefer something smaller than the regular wagon and I only need 2 seats. Any recommendations?

Outbound train on the Virgin was very very packed to the brim spent 4 hours in the cabin sat on cases near the door...Got Head trapped in doors also...Inbound Journey even worse as one carriage was closed, also one toilet blocked so spent another 4 hours stood up..whom do I complain to as this was the most Claustophobic situation ever...

I am thinking of selling my sportster1200 .It has a new paint job belt drive and a 4 gl stretch gas tank. The heads have been ported and polished.It has programmable ignition .21/4 in pipes with a super E carb new tires and seat along with winshield.can someone tell me what its worth. my clutch doesnt seem to grab very well. there isnt that point where the clutch grabs the transmission and the pedal is really soft. switching gears is a breeze and if i choose to burn out it all works but ive driven a number of sticks and this one is different you never really feel it grab the tranny you only know your in gear because when you step on the gas the car will take off. i took it to a mechanic and he said the master cylinder was fine so i should probably replace the slave cylinder though he wasnt possitive that that was going to solve the problem. what do you think? whats is going to cost for a new clutch kit and installation? what do you think the difficulty on installing a new clutch is?

Car: 96' Isuzu rodeo V6 3.2L engine (automatic transmission)

Problem: It all started with the a/c. When one wanted to turn on the ac no air would come out from the vents.
A day later the check engine and battery light came on the dash. We noticed that the volt reading on the dash was by 8. That being the case, both the alternator and battery were changed. Even with the new alternator and battery in place the volt reading on the dash was barely 10. So far we have taken the alternator to 2 different places and they tell us that its good, but the battery is being drained dead. If the problem is due to burned links how does one go about finding this out?

as for the ac not blowing any air, what could the answer be? ( fan clutch?)

is there a correlation between the ac problem and the battery being drained , or do advance auto part workers not know how to test alternators, and THATS the problem?

one Wensday me and my wife was drive down the road and some kid hit so in a newr car and we have a 1990 Dodge Omni the air bag came out in the omni but not the newer car every one was ok when we got hit but come to find out last night my wife went to the D.C and they told her she had a brokeing foot and that she has to take 6 to 8 weeks off work and she is a nurce Aid is thier any why she could sue them for some $ note the kid hit us and both cars are total please kelp

At least that's where the sound seems to come from. Each turn one click. But nothing else. Have tried jump starting it. Actually replaced solenoid thinking something was wrong with that. All electrical parts seem to work that I can find. Have checked all fuses including under the hood. Have never had any problems up til now with it starting.

A lid on the pickup came off while being towed by a wrecker. It was ran over by a 18-wheeler and damaged beyond repair. The wrecker driver claims it is not his fault because the lid was not locked prior to him towing. Is the wrecker driver liable or am I at a complete loss?

I have had the cooling fan fixed, relay fixed,new water pump and thermostat fixed and checked heating coil replaced I just not to long ago put a new engine in it because of it running hot it cracked a head so what else could it be. Also I before i put the new engine in I used cargo seal which clogged up everything thats why I had to replace everything also I had the radiator flused out three times and it"s stll running hot. Help Please
