Small cars?

My question is this: What is the best small car ($12,000-$16,000) new on the market today to buy in regards to "depreciation". I'm not looking for info on the car. Looking for info on what small economy cars on the market now have the smallest depreciation and the best resale value or trade in value.

I would recommend the 2007 Toyota Yaris sedan or hatchback. Toyota's resale value is high, in fact I sold a 2002 Corolla for 8,500 CND. I own a Yaris Sedan it has all the good features, good braking system, lots of room and a fun ride. It's so easy to do U-turns because of the Yaris' front.

i have a honda civic, its a great small car, i LOVE it! i have had 4 accidents in my car, had it fixed every time, it still works great. has over 100,000 miles on it and i expect it to have a lot more.
