I am constantly debating which car is the best to buy. I am debating between: Chevy Cobalt SS Coupe, Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V, Nissan Altima 2.5 S, Pontiac G6, Scion tC, or a Mazda 3 which do you think is the best buy for an car under 20 grand?

Car needs a bit more speed, especially with acceleration. I do not want to spend an arm and a leg or do modifications that will see me living at the garage.

Thanks for all the help before, turns out, my battery was fried and i bought a new one, but im having a bit of a dilema. My car now idles at 1500 rpm. Thats bad. Im pretty sure its just adjusting the throttle cables, but maybe its something else. i just did a whole reassembly of the intake manifold. any ideas or suggestions on how to adjust the cables?

I have small black specks on my car which was parked under a tree. I can pop them off with my fingernail. Yet it would take 10 hours and seams to be marking my paint. Any help out there?

It's a Chevrolet and was made from the year 1955 to 1969 or something. It's sort of a pick up and minivan put togther. It's really ugly. It has like a really rounded front end with a sharper back end that's pretty long. I once saw it in a book from a library and did not want to research it at the time but now I want to in which they don't have the book anymore. Any suggestions.

I have an 84 Camarao just a little get me places car, has the 2.8 V6 and TH700-R4 transmission. Now, I have 2 questions really... first... when the transmission is warm, the fluid stays in, theres no leaks, but when it gets cold, -all- the transmission fluid comes out of somewhere...and its not the pan. Second, it had been slipping, hence my intimate knowledge of the fluid level, Ive been keeping ontop of it enough so it'll get me by til I get a new transmission. But, now its stuck in drive, and the shifter does not grab anything, it just flops from top to bottom through p,r,n,o,d,2,1 it wont catch anything. Now, would this be a linkage problem, or is my transmission finally, truely, toast?

I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. Its time I need to buy a new car but I do not like anything that I see becase all the new cars seem to have a space age look to them. I like the look and feel of my current car (Mitsubishi Eclipse) But I draw blanks when it comes to what new car to buy. I plan to spend aprox: $35,000

I am trying to figure out how I go about buying a car from someone who does not have title to the car because it is leased. The lessor believes that the title will be given to them within ten days. What is the best way of finalizing a deal with them? Pay them, trusting that they will send the title? Is there a contract I should have them sign? Anyone know a good resource for figuring this out?

I get a buzzing noise occasionally (2-3% of the time) when I turn my turn signals on. If I turn them off and back on again, the noise stops. Any ideas as to what it is? I have an 88 corolla.

So my '86 Toyota truck (manual, 22r) will die when i'm not in gear so whenever I coast down the road and don't have it in gear or at stop lights/signs. I recently replaced the spark plugs, rotor and cap, and the master clutch cylinder... The odd thing though, is that it only dies once it is up to running tempurature... When the engine is cold it runs without dieing... I imgaine I could probably turn the idle up to fix this problem, but that seems more like i'm just ignoring the problem than repairing it... does anyone have any ideas?
