Car needs a bit more speed, especially with acceleration. I do not want to spend an arm and a leg or do modifications that will see me living at the garage.

put some supreme gas in it, add some lucas to your fuel system to clean out your injectors, check the air filter, oil. you can easily add a aftermarket air filter which are easy to assemble and do add more horsepower to your vehicle..i would convert it to a manuel cause that would make it quicker they are standard faster then automatics beginning with the take off, acceleration and ability to pick up speed...

The bottom line is there is no secret go fast juice for $1.99. If you want more horse power loose some weight off your car. Thats the cheapest easiest way to gain horsepower. Take out seats,AC, power windows, power steering, spare tire anything that is heavy loose it. After that you will have to spend cash on cold air intake, exhaust, turbo. I can give you a list in order If you want.Let me know.
