Why won't my Pioneer DEH-1000 except my CD's?

When I put the CD into the player it won't take it. I don't understand why. Are there any tricks?

Did u just get it installed? I got a stero player installed and had a read error. You might have to go down there and have them reinstall it.

Well that is an older model, if its not taking any CD's at all more than likely the loading mech is jammed up. I would not repair that unit you can by a newer version for as much as a repair would be.

either theres another cd in there or its a program/mechanic error
