check by the gas tank on passenger side or somewhere on the passenger side by the firewall, most likely in rear of car underthe frame.

the 1986 Camry has the 2se engine and I do think it is on the drivers side next to the air box metal body . note loosen the gas cap and make sure the 14mm nut on the bottom moves that line is known to sieze good luck this is from a Toyota Tech!!!

Look in a Haynes book. Later models have it down inside the gas tank, but that was much later, I think.
