with the exception of the idiot who told you it depends on the trim and whether it is a coupe or a sedan, everyone is correct. ALL accords, to date, have been front wheel drive.

Contrary to the previous poster, It doesn't matter if it is a coupe, sedan or what trim level it is. All Honda Accords are front wheel drive. All of them.

Sounds like a scam unless the vehicle is salvaged. - Is the owner saying that he is going overseas (possibly the military) and needs to sell it now? - Is the owner saying that they are going through a divorce and need to get rid of it immediately? - Is the owner selling the car through craigslist or ebay and saying that you are protected under the 'Ebay buyer protection program' or something like that? If any of these apply, it is definitely a scam. It could also be some other similar variation.
