I have a whole mess of jackstands in the garage that are closely new. I never use them because i feel more secure working on a vehicle jacked up with railroad ties. If its more than a days work, i like to leave them jacked up without the worry of someone knocking the vehicle over.

Would my car sound good if I had 2 15 inch (450 watts rms each) alone, or along with 2 12 inch (400 watts rms each), or 4 12 inch, or 2 10 inch (300 watt rms each), or 4 10 inch? I have two 600 watt each amps.

I've just got off a flight from Birmingham to Edinburgh. Considering this flight is mostly overland (if you forget the Firth of Forth), it seems strange that at least half of the safety briefing is about how to put the lifejacket on.

So while there are lots of statistics about how many plane crashes there are and how safe air travel is, I would like to know how many lives have ever been saved by those yellow life jackets? I'll bet it's very few.

Had transmission repaired - completely rebuilt- same gear 2nd went out again. Now claiming that the drive shaft caused it this time and trying to get out of warranty. Truck F150 never shook -vabraited. Ran great - just as before 2nd gear went out! We think this is just a way around warranty. Why the same gear - won't that effect all. Besides there has not been any drive shaft problems or vibration or shaking?

Why is it that in some states they are street legal quadrunners and in states like Texas they are not legal to drive in the streets? I don't understand what the difference is between a motorcycle vs a quadrunner. Some folks would rather drive a quadrunner then a motorcycle and vica versa.

in reference to the 94 lincoln towncar srs with water pump problems. I have recieved three suggestions and would like to thank you all. In addition, there is no bolt holding this hub on. There was a spiral wire on the front, but a heplful person broke it off. I am speaking of the aluminum hub to which the fan blades
are bolted. The shaft will have to be installed on the new water pump. I just need to know how to get that aluminum hub off.
