I want to purchase a gooseneck trailer but I don't want to buy a new truck to pull it. Can I somehow use my EXT to do the job?

Not really...Look at the shape of the back area of that EXT. Its not like a regular pick up. Let alone, that bed sides are much higher than the standard truck. Good luck on that one.

In theory you could mount a Gooseneck hitch there... but the truck is not designed to haul the weight that is associated with a gooseneck trailer. Sell the Escalade and go buy a Fully Loaded SuperDuty Ford 1 Ton Pickup to haul a gooseneck trailer. Check the tongue weight of the trailer fully loaded to determine whether or not you need to get a Dually Rear End with extra tires on your replacement truck. I have a friend who pulls a 30 ft camper just fine with a 3/4 ton SuperDuty Ford with a standard rear end. Get the V10 or the Diesel if you can afford it. The Extra power is worth the money when you are towing!

Is this a Work trailer? Horse Trailer? Travel trailer?
If it is a Travel Trailer/Camper... Keep your Escalade and buy a Class C or class A motor home instead depending on your budget. MUCH better than towing... and the family can cook dinner and play cards at the table while traveling!

No. I checked and the are no applications for an Escalade.

That would be down-right foolish with one of those.
