There is no "deductible" on the other car. Your liability insurance pays that in full.
Deductible only applies to your damage, if you carry collision coverage on your car.
Often the insurance co. may pay you in cash for your estimated damage, less your deductible.

Your deductible is the amount of money 'deducted' from the check you recieve from your insurance company for payment of a covered loss. You will not have to pay any deductible on a liability claim to other persons damaged property.
Example: your vehicle is damaged, it is repaired at a body shop. Insurance co (or shop) will write an estimate to repair and then the company will deduct a portion from the check. That will be your portion of repair cost.

Are you talking about damages to your vehicle? Then yes, if you have collision, you will pay your deductible, your insurance pays the rest of your damage. If you mean damages to the other person's vehicle that is covered under your liability coverage, and there is no deductible.

Your deductible refers only to the damage done to our car. If you have your car repaired, you pay the deductible on your collision insurance.
The damage to the other persons car is paid for by your insurance company, That is what you pay them, for every month.
They will no doubt raise your rates, because of the accident, In California that raised rate will usually last for 3 years.

Usually, but it depends on the insurance company and their policies. For the most part if you have a $500 deductible, they will collect the $500 from you and then send the injured party a check for their costs.
