I clean inside of my windshield regulary but some how it gets filmy quickly. When i wipe it down, it doesn't leave dirt on cloth but feels more like a thin layer of grease on glass. How do I end this problem once for all?

Your car up in case of emergency. Many new cars have non-traditional methods for changing tires. It's important to know before you need it.

Do YOU know how to jack up your car?

i have an '86 El Camino in which the speedometer doesn't work. It was ECU controlled, but somewhere along the line someone dropped in a carb'd 350. i love the engine and carb, but is there a way to hook the speedometer up w/out the ECU? Is it mechanical or does it have to have the computer? thanks.

I have a 66 Mustang with a 302 and I believe that I have a cracked head. Someone told me it might be a cracked block but I don't think it shows the signs of one. There is oil in the coolant, but no coolant in the oil. There is no white smoke coming out of the exhaust. There is no foaming or bubbling coming from the block. Is it still possible for it to be a cracked block because I am kind of paranoid that it might be. I am planning on replacing the heads within the next week and I wont drive it until I do.

Hi...my "transmission" problems on my 1998 Ford Escort turned out to be a vacuum leak caused by the PCV Valve hose melting and having a big hole. I need to buy a new case and hose for the PCV valve because its torn at the connection. For the hell of it I put duct tape over the hole..the car is running alot better now and im going to have that all fixed ASAP but Im wondering if it was a better idea to have the hole opened or duct taped shut? Do you think that driving around for a few weeks could have permanently damaged my engine?
