Or would like too much power going to like the accesories or antena do it? It worked fine before I hooked it up to this one because I used it before and I can't just hook it up the way it was before because I don't know how it was before.....

sounds like you hooked it up backwards or hooked up power to the ground or had way to big of a fuse in it id take it in and have it checked to see if its still good or not

if you hook up your subwoofer to it without an amp, it can use too much power and smoke.. so i would check out all the fuses and see if they are the right size

check all wires are connected properly and there no cuts or frays in wires before going any further if all okay take back to place of purchase.

Most likely a short circuit in it.

there could be a lot of reasons. maybe a bad wire that burned, maybe it overheated, etc. take it to a car audio guy
