I'm interested in getting my Class 1/A Licence to drive gravel truck etc...but see that most companies ask for a minimum of 2 years experience. How would I get that experience before hand ?

Do's anyone have any troubleshooting methods for setting the universal garage door opener in the 2003 Ford Explorer OUTSIDE of the instructions from the manual. Following the manual has not been successful as of yet. Any solutions to this problem would be appreciated.

it's an '86 el camino w/ a 350 from a GMC 1 ton van in it. it's pretty fast, and will really burn the tires. but lately, if you suddenly floor it, it will hesitate real bad, and then kick in. and, if you do a burnout and let off the gas right away it will die...i was thinking fuel filter? it has a Holley 4 barrell carb. any other ideas on what it might be?

What do I need to look for here? This will be the first boat I have owned but I am experienced with smaller water craft.
I want a used model that has a small cabin (air conditioned would be nice) I live near a lake that has access to main rivers and would be using on week ends, will rent a slip on the lake to keep it. I want one that has been maintained but I am pretty good with a wrench too.
A friend said I needed a cuddy cabin crusier. I am hoping to find one I like in the low $20s lower would be better. My question is, is there real hope here or am I going to be finding junk in my price range?

I am having trouble with my 01 Cavalier.. The car will not start at times unless you press the gas pedal.. Now being a fuel injected car I should not have to do this. I have also had this on a computer to see if there are any codes in the computer and there are none.. All of the sensors check out ok. I have changed the fuel and air filter, the plugs and wires and I would hate to have to start to shot gun this thing by replaceing unneeded sensors.. And this car only has about 31000 miles on it... Ay ideas???

First of all: I love this car! I bought it a week ago, after a twenty-year love affair with the W123 body style. It's from the south, so no rot, runs and rides great, and is FUN! All electrical works, great looking, all my boys drool.
Biggest problem: the day after I bought it, it wouldn't shut off after it was turned off. Pressing STOP is ok when it's August, but it's getting cold, and will get old fast. Where to start?
Next biggest: trans leak. It leaked almost a quart on a day trip yesterday, all expwy@70/75, 21mpg. I decided today to try staying @60 or under - not one drop! And 30.7mpg! I dropped the trans pan, replaced filter, and topped off with AMSOil ATP. It doesn't look wet anywhere but pan gasket and lower, can't see where it could be leaking from when heavy accel.
Next: odo froze@164k. Speedo works fine.
Next: even in the blue range, heat is HOT!
Next: driver door key goes in lock, but lock will not turn.; pass lock turns, but won't lock.
Last: doggy - no turbo?
