I'm interested in getting my Class 1/A Licence to drive gravel truck etc...but see that most companies ask for a minimum of 2 years experience. How would I get that experience before hand ?

go to truck driving school. they then can help you get a job with a compay that hires student drivers. then put in your 2 years for the experience.

My father is a truck driver. Basically, you'll have to work for a small operation that won't pay you well and will treat you bad for two years. Once you have the experience, a more reputable and good company will hire you.

They have the experience limitation for insurance purposes.
