I understand that they do NOT have Agents... How does that affect handling YOUR claim?

Agents don't handle claims. Claims examiners handle claims. The agent sells your policy and collects your money and maybe takes a claim report for you, but forwards all of that to the company that handles your claim. Having an agent has nothing to do with claims service.

If you want to know about any insurance company's claims service record, you can look up their ratings. Remember, people who had bad experiences will be glad to tell you all about it, but there's two sides to every story. And how well informed is a decision not to insure with someone because you don't like their commercials?

I have never had Geico because despite their agressive advertising and almost daily mailings...they are definately NOT the lowest priced insurance company out there. (for young males anyways)...I know a number of people who have Geico. 3 aquaintances of mine have complained at how poorly Geico was handling their claims... I think 2 of them switched.. So I haven'thad them first hand to know for sure, but this is what I have heard.

I do not have Geico and never will. Just let the seriously stupid TV and radio commercials they have tell you what kind of company they are. They claim over 10,000 drivers switch to them every day, and im sure they drop just as many in a day too.
