I recently switched from Allstate to State Farm after I received a very nice quote for my car insurance. I switched policies on Tuesday, and cancelled my old policy. Today I got a call from the lady at State Farm saying that she misquoted me and that my actual amount is 80$ more than she originally said per 6 months.

This makes my old Allstate policy cheaper (only by $15 but still). She said that I would be rebilled, but I'm kind of thinking that I should be entitled to the policy that I was quoted and paid for 3 days ago. Do I have a legal leg to stand on, or do I have to pay the price for someone else's incompetence?

What should I do?

I am looking for 3/8 in solid steel line and a simple bender. not teminated,, just the line. deos anybody know where I can find this, online or who might carry this?
I'm using it to run a vacume line extender to the brake booster on my chevy, just changed the carb and the vac line is in the front, and I don't want a collasped line at speed.

There are several areas of my car, the hood, the roof, and trunk where the paint is coming off. I cannot afford to get it done professionally right now, but I don't want it to get worse and rust. Can I touch this up myself and How? Thanks.

i have a 1992 chev p/u 4x4 1500 350 engine. at around 45 mph engine just revs almost red lines but does not shift into high.

The right blinker in my car doesn't work. It makes the clicking sound like it would when it flashes, but no lights in front or in back (and I think on the dash).

I'm not a big car person and all I know is it's a Buick.

Some people have told me you have to drop the rear axel,some say just gas tank and still others tell me there's a panel in my back floor board. Can someone please help me? I just bought a newer used truck, and someone in their infinite wisdom used a liquid wax on the vehicle windows, and it looks dirty and spotted, is more hazardous at night and in rainy conditions. I've found NOTHING that takes it off, and I'm a cleaning nut. Does anybody know what will do the trick? Would appreciate the help!!

Got one picked out from each group.....SUV, Truck, or Car.... just not sure which one of those would be best to buy. Details below.

Be used for everyday driving to store and work, some daily trips and some longer trips and destinations, and vacations. Tad bit better gas mileage in the car but the truck has room for storage and the truck and suv can tow if down the road i decide to purchase a boat. Just stuck here not sure what to buy so any advice would really help.

Can anyone in El Paso buy a Lamborghini and register it here, get license plates, and an inspection sticker like any other car? I think that any road construction project should be started and ended within 10 months and that no construction should occur during July & August (the hot months). I think all construction should be complete including getting the orange barrells off the road within 10 months from start. Road construction is constantly going on and causes more trouble with shutting down lanes than having had start the project. All road projects should be worked on 24/7 until done. What do you think?

Gas price is up and up. My sister told me she always fill regular gas for her Lexus LS400 and BMW 323 for years and seemed to be all right. No mechanic damage and does not feel powerless.
I believe her words but think that just too good to be true.
And opinion?
