I was a lane away and a few car lengths behind him - it was a big 18-wheeler "pickup" style truck that was hauling stones. One hit my windhshield and not only chipped it, but it splintered it out into a star-shaped crack surrounding the chip. I was able to get the name of the trucking company and their location and this AM hunted them down and found them online. What do you think my chances are of having them pay for it? I'm assuming slim-to-none but i know that stone came from that truck - he got off at the next exit and i was unable to get any other info off the truck. I assume when i call the company and tell them what happened i'll get "we had no truck there this am". Is it even worth the bother?

Why not walk, get a bike, take the bus or even the train, get a taxi, scrounge a lift, hop, skip & jump anything really, just sell your car.
If I don't like doing something I try my best not to do it.
And why, after you have tried so hard to rip the side out of my car do you think saying " Oh, But I really don't like driving" will help the situation!

I was pulling an 18' trailer with about 3,000 pounds of aluminum for the company I work for. The highway was at a junction, the far right hand lane was the exit so I was in it. This 18 wheeler decides he wants in the same lane I'm in, (there wasn't much room and I didn't have time to slow down, not to mention the weight I had on the trailer, which makes it even harder to slow down). So he's trying to get over, he cuts me off. He then pulls over and blocks the lane (and traffic, which makes me have to break and stop) and gets out of his truck and starts yelling that I was suppost to yield to him. He said that there was a yield sign. (The yield sign was for people getting on the highway.) So this idiot is blocking traffic going 70 miles an hour to yell at me, what do you think?

I saw an ad on TV that Ford is now offering 0% APR on 2006 models. Does that mean all Ford dealers in the US offer that deal? or just selected few dealers?
Thanks.

The problem is the clutch. As I let out the pedal it engages sometimes near the floorboard and at other times it engages when the pedal is nearly out all the way. I replaced the clutch actuator near the floorboard but the problem persists. Where else could the problem be?

I'm looking into buying a 1998 4-Door Suzuki Esteem. Everything on it seems in good working order. The mileage is kind of high, about 150,000 but the owner has recently fixed a few things on it. Everything seems up to date and I don't see any thing that could be wrong with it.

I've always wanted a foreign car, as I've heard they're more reliable, but I've heard that Suzuki and Mitsubishi and not very good foreign cars, but Honda and Toyota are. Does this mean that all Suzuki cars are crap? It just seems like a really good car at a good price ($1,800). I appreciate your opinion on it. Thanks!

iam getting ready to clear coat my restored 1979 bronco. I tried the clear on a painted scrap piece first, i mixed the clear with hardner and a little pearls just to try it and after it dried it was not to smooth. I have a hvlp gun and i tried different psi the best i thought was about 22psi. Does the clear coat get thinned? When i got the clear i was told just to add hardner. Will it smooth out when it get buffed?
