if its been welded and its not leaking oil, leave it alone. Your bike is fine.I weld cases up for people all the time.Unless you want to spend all that money for new cases.

If the clutch case is welded, what needs to be rectified? If the clutch cover is welded to the crankcase, then you have a big problem. If the cover is cracked, an experienced aluminum welder will have no problem repairing it.
