I was pulling an 18' trailer with about 3,000 pounds of aluminum for the company I work for. The highway was at a junction, the far right hand lane was the exit so I was in it. This 18 wheeler decides he wants in the same lane I'm in, (there wasn't much room and I didn't have time to slow down, not to mention the weight I had on the trailer, which makes it even harder to slow down). So he's trying to get over, he cuts me off. He then pulls over and blocks the lane (and traffic, which makes me have to break and stop) and gets out of his truck and starts yelling that I was suppost to yield to him. He said that there was a yield sign. (The yield sign was for people getting on the highway.) So this idiot is blocking traffic going 70 miles an hour to yell at me, what do you think?

I have observed some behavior like that from 18 wheelers. However, I always amuse myself, when they get out of the truck, most of them are 5 foot 5 inches with an attitude. I guess your idiot now thinks he owns the road. I have an acquittance (18 wheeler driver) that goes around telling everyone, he tries to count how many number 1's he gets in a day. This is how he passes the time, trying to make other people mad. Recently, going on a vacation, an 18 wheeler cut the bend coming in the opposite direction from me, and smashed my new car up against the guard rail and almost pushed my family over a cliff into a stream. Made my De ville look like an accordion. When the State Police showed up, they said, thank god, you were driving a while built car, anything else you would have been dead. I had his bumper sitting 5 inches from my stomach. Came very close to being impaled. Professional drivers should be just that, professionals, and not think they are above making mistakes. With every profession, there is always someone who is a rotten apple, lets just hope, for all of our safety, these incidents are not the up and coming trend...

You should be glad he didn't pull over and shoot you. I am so afraid of some of the idiots on the road these days. In Dallas there are lots of drive by shootings on the highways. Probably by the same people that send you a violation on yahoo answers for saying blah blah blah. Crazy a** people out here!

I would have got out and kicked his nuts in. what a douche. I hate it when truckers think they own the road just cause that's how they make their living. One ran me onto the shoulder in Cincinnati when i was taking my family to Florida for vacation about two weeks ago. I wish he would've stopped, it would've been fun to release my frustration on his face.

Whatever happened, he is a total moron for stopping in such a place - get out of there as soon as you can - note his registration number if you can.

People like him are why I cannot carry a gun. Obviously he's an imbecile, just try to get over it (although I know it's hard).

I think he was really, really embarassed! (Rightfully so) He was also stupid enough to think that yelling at you would make others think he was right.
