BTW THIS IS A AUTO.I have a 97 dodge neon,the timing belt broke(long story.)Every thing is fixed now but the shifting into 3rd and the belt is rubbing the timing cover.I was told if the timing belt is on right it should NOT be rubbing anything.I have ran into transmission problems,but after my husband change the filter and fluid.It went from not shifting into reverse(he put trans slip fluid in it and it fixed the problem)to not shifting into second,now it shifts into 3rd randomly.I am thinking it could be that the timing is off.What are the odds?

I cant believe theyve banned liquids. Now u cant even have a bottle of water on a plane. I think electronic devices like cell phones, laptops, mp3 players will be next. What do u think?

I am just about to get my license. My parents want me to have my own insurance policy; and I was wondering if anyone knows of a good company to go with. Something with good coverage, but relatively cheap; I only have a part time job. I am under 18 so I know that will influence a lot of how much it costs me and etc. Any input on this is greatly appreciated.

I have a 98 cov. GT. I just had my Air Conditioning Condenser replaced at the ford dealership. As soon as I left the dealer I heard a squeaking noice coming from the back of the car. It sounds like it is around the trunk area. I can hear it a lot when I am going around 25-35 mph. Any idea what this can be from. Did the dealer do something to my car?

Can someone help tell me how to install this in my 97 sunfire i had a deh-16 but it was stolen out of the car so the 17 should fit but they took the wireing harness and everything so if anyone can help tell me how to install this please do i have no idea,. i also bought a car stereo wiring connector that says it fits my car if i need that? i have no idea

I have a '97 Nissan Sentra GXE to sell that has a low mileage of less than 65,000 miles. Two buyers at different times looked at it and had similar comments that the engine noise is quite loud for a low mileage engine. They also felt that its acceleration in the starting out phase is not good enough, and, particularly when going on an upward incline it tends to lose power and reduces speed drastically -- even when the acceleration pedal is pressed down fully. They both declined to purchase the vehicle on these grounds. Now I am afraid to show the car to anyone else fearing rejection again. I desperately want to get your assistance in finding out if there is a good product or products that have been proven to: 1) reduce engine noise significantly and make it sound smooth; 2) perk up the engine/transmission to give it a strong pickup at starting out from zero speed, and while going uphill. Will appreciate getting the products names and the store names /websites where available. Thanks.

we have a 88 dodge daytona, when we turn the key nothing happens, no dash lights, not even the clock came on. the battery is fully charged and we replace the ignition cylinder(I think that is what it is called) and nothing has happend HELP!!!

The number is the engine's Identification number found on the driver's side of the block. There is another code also found in the same area perpendicular to the I.D. which is as follows "G1064" Could anyone tell me what this code means? Or What it is for?

Got our first flat tire today at 23000 miles. Loosened the lugs, removed the small spare, and jacked up the car. After removing the lugs, the wheel would not come off. There was another bolt in the center of the hub--no tool supplied to remove it. After getting a tool to remove the bolt we found another lock underneath it. We called Volvo's 24 hr service line, and they said it had to be towed to the dealer.

What in the world is there even a spare tire in there for if a person can't change the tire without having it towed to the dealer? And what if I want to go to a different tire store to get replacements? If only the dealer has the tool to remove the lock, then we HAVE to go to them?

As the years go by I'm invloved in more and more accidents, and I can't drive yet and they were all caused by someone other than the driver of the vehicle I was in. Is it just that auotmotive education is on a decline or is it just that more drivers are on the road with a surging population?

sometimes when its put into gear(drive or reverse) it still is in neutral, and the engine just revs, then you have to put it back in park and try again, its happing all the time and i just bought it last week.

I have a 2002 Kawasaki Ninja 250EX, and the clutch cable snapped off, I have absolutely no idea how to replace it so I need to take it somewhere and have it done, does anyone know how much this costs, and how hard it is to replace? Thanks in advance.

I drained the nasty gas in it and cleaned the bowls on the carbs and reassembled and put it in fresh gas with fuel system cleaner. It will idle at about 1700 rpms if I have the choke on full. If I try to give it gas it dies and if I try to reduce the choke it dies. Not sure if it is still gunked or what. Ideas? If it is still gunked is there a specific carb or fuel injector cleaner that is especially effective with motorcycles that have sat so long? Best answer points to the person that comes up with a solution that does not involve removing the carbs again. Thanks.
