An accident, no direct impact. No noise or indication of hub bearing going bad. Now, noisy, and my wife smells something getting hot when she drives the car even short distances in town.
State Farm's adjuster says it could ONLY be because of wear and tear, since we repalced the one on the other side. And Car Bearings will ONLY go bad if they wear out, or thay have a direct impact from another vehicle( I assume that is what he meant.) . They, State Farm, will not replace any bearing unless it has had a direct impact! Please let me know a little of your back ground if you will. thank you
