92 nissan bluebird was idling roughly and stalled at the lights on the way to work. So i changed the spark plugs and air filter, the gap between the new and old plugs visually looked the same.Re- assembled.Turned the ignition and she roughly started, like she was choking and would not idle properly. Also could smell petrol. HELP

Please provide more info. upon the following. Ok, well its a 92' so it should probably not be carburetored, correct.? If so adjust the idle; if not check the injectors or try running some injector cleaner through it. Thats the easy way. Some times it works. Also check for a vacuum leak. Spray the vacuum hoses with carburetor cleaner or something like that and if the idle smoothes out for a few seconds then you have a vacuum leak and a hose needs to be replaced. Well ill check back sometime and see what else i should put. Good luk.
