I just went to a collision repair center - I have a very low to the ground Saturn SL2 and a blown-out tire got caught in the bumper on the freeway. Damage, yes. However, on the estimate, this place wants to charge me for a new A/C condenser. My A/C works just fine - what's up with this?

Blue Angels are practicing today over Chicago for the Air Show this weekend. I know the clouds have to be a certain height for visibility or they won't fly. There is a single jet flying over downtown right now (1:40 Central Time), but the requirements for one jet are not the same as the requirements for a jet formation. Anybody know how low the clouds can be before they cancel the show?

It's known that running the AC in your car eats gas. But is it eating as much gas when it's on low as it is when it's on high, or is it an all or nothing kind of pull from the engine?

does anyone know of a site that give a list of all tyre sizes available in the UK, as i have tried many site, that deal with tyres, and U have to put in the size profile etc, and then they tell U if they are available or not.

the reason is i'm am designing a car and i need to know what size tyre are currently available, so i can design the alloys around them.

i'm not too bothered to know the prices, although that would be good too, i just need to know what size profile, rim size and width is available

i have a bmw 2006 with a slow leak on the tread. one of the tire dudes told me to put "fix a flat" good or bad? I went to two tire shops they both told me i should replace the tire. I just have a slow leak on the tread, there isn't a nail, just a slow leak that i have to put air like every 6 days or so. Once i added fix a flat the leak stoped. what should i do..?

Every diagram of every starter I have seen shows two bolts coming off the flywheel housing, and the starter fits over those bolts and is tightened down with a washer and a 17mm nut.

Situation: I can find the lower right nut [the one visible if looking from the front of the right rear tire][right = passenger side, left = driver side]. It was easy to remove.

I cannot find the upper left nut. When I crawl under and wrap my hand around the starter to reach for the upper left nut, I cannot locate it. There is something there but it is more square in shape, about 1/2 to 3/4 inches square and curved or rounded on one side, and it is built up taller than the lower right bolt [ maybe a 1/4 inch taller.

Can someone tell me how to remove this starter?

Can someone tell me what is going on in the area where the upper left nut should be?

I need an answer fast - my daughter needs the car to go back to school next week!

I would prefer to take this starter off in one piece.

If someone hit your car is it right for the insurance company to charge you for the damage that the other car did? I got hit on the side of my car and I called the persons Insurance people the checked my car and made estimates on it. They told me I was 60% liable for my car while the person that hit me is only 40% liable. Should I take it to court?

You know, the ones that make reading the number virtually impossible? Why would someone do this unless they had something to hide... which seems would make them automatically suspect? Isn't it sort of like cutting off your nose to spite your face?

I just recently purchased a 2006 Civic SI, which is stock pushing 197 hp. It's a simple question, who can tell me what all mods I can do, how much they will cost, and how much HP they will add?

Also is it true a super/turbo actually hurts your engine and will take years off the motor?
