yes, you can take them, they never banned either of them. do know that you cant have your cell phone on while on the plane though. you will be able to turn your laptop on while on the plane, youll just have to wait until they say its ok to use electronic devices though. the only new things you cannot take on the plane are any sorts of liquids or gels. that includes things like water, lotion, lip gloss...things like that, so just dont take it! but yes, electronics are allowed.

and dont pay attention to that spenge person up there, THATS WHAT THE SITE IS FOR, TO ASK QUESTIONS AND GET ANSWERS, NOT FOR PEOPLE TO GET MAD AND SAY CALL THE AIRPORT...this is obviously eiser so if you dont want to answer the question correctly then dont write anything at all.

I think anywhere is OK if you take with you a cellphone but MUST to be turned OFF like the Laptop. If you don't have wireless on Laptop ask a flight-attendant if you can turn on. Or ask at the airport.

To keep turn OFF the cell phone is for your and others security.

I think you can only take your cell phone onboard with you on domestic flights...I don't think you can internationally. As for the laptop, I'm not sure, but I'm going to guess that it's the same as cell phones: Yes domestically, no internationally.
