When was the last time you changed your fuel filter? The black stuff out the tale pipe could be tail pipe condensate or the Catalytic converter is plugged up and needs to be replaced. Either one could be causing your problem, based on the symptoms you describe.

Thats what happens when your timing is waaaay advanced...You need a complete tuneup and maybe more. If you keep letting it go, the pistons and valves will start hitting. The 'black stuff' (black smoke and soot) coming out of the tailpipe is un-burnt gasoline. A cold engine will blow (water) condensation out of its tail-pipe when it is warming up, so that probably makes it look worse. Start by checking the timing.

Is it liquid black stuff or something else.

At best you need a much needed tune up, if it's dirty oil coming out the tailpipe, then your in for some hefty bills

Sounds like Air/Fuel Mixture is not right. Spark plug could be filed out or bad spark plug wires. Im not a mechanic expert but go google the symptoms and see what you find.

sounds like the fuel system is and has been running a rich mixture and plugged or restricted the exhaust system. take it to a shop and have the fuel system checked and corrected then replace the converter
