Window starts down then stops. Have to wait a few minuets
and try again. Goes down a little more and stops. Same thing happens when I try to get it to go up.

the exact same thing happened to me...the moter inside the window is breaking. youll have to take it to a shop and get it replaced. while i got lucky and had a friend do mine free it will probably cost around $120 to replace the motor and for the labor. im sorry!!!

The answer from the first *** is just junk.
The lady with the second answer is much better.
Here is something you can also try.
Get somw WD-40 and spray the window tracks. Sometimes these tracks get dryed out and makes the window stick.
The tracks are the part in the door that are on both sides of the window.

It has a broken sproken in the lock ring. Who knows... if you have to ask you obviously don't have the knowledge to be able to remove the door panel and fix it so what is the point is asking. Take it to a shop as you will end up doing anyways.

its probably the window regulator. I've replaced a bunch of these. if you know somebody with any mechanical ability at all its an easy driveway fix
