Go to Circuit City or Best Buy. Tell them what type of car you have and the stereo type. They should be able to give you a harness that hooks directly into the factory harness and into the stereo. That is the easiest way to do it.

Another way to do it is to get a metra harness that connects to your factory wiring but has exposed wires on the other end. You can then splice those to the harness that plugs into the back of the radio. Metra harnesses are available at any auto parts store, you just tell them what you are looking for and the sales people will tell you exactly what you need. Doing it this way is a bit more labor intensive, but the harness and wire twist connectors will cost you less than 10, whereas the harness from Circut City or Best Buy will cost about 20-25.

Where did you buy the stereo? If you bought it from Best-buy or Circut City they should have offered free installation.
