I need money to upscale my salon and possibly even buy a building instead of renting. I also need to advertise. Most of people who walk into my salon from just window shopping always say, "Your salon is so nice but i never knew you were here."

Hi,

I'm looking for sources for wholesale product catalogs. The wholesalers must be in the United States. I don't want to purchase overseas since the high cost of shipping, taxes, and fees pretty much kill the price if you purchase in smaller quantities. The wholesaler must also provide a way for you to request the catalog online. I am looking for physical catalogs, not for online catalogs. I already have my business license and tax id.

I am a college student majoring in architecture and my school is very far from art supplies. And architecture students always have to rush all over the place last minute in order to get supplies. I was thinking of selling supplies from my van in order to make some money and help out the college students but I want to see if its a good idea. Are there any legalities with this? And can the college sue me for using their property? And I am in NYC in case this helps. thanks

My husband, David & I are working on opening up a pet store by late fall in Northren Ca. We will be carrying everything but, puppies and kittens ( We will be working with rescue groups for these animals). The name we are thinking of is " LITTLE PETS" Other that, we are drawing a blank. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? What would you like to see in a pet store? What kind of layout would make you want to shop? What kind of colors inside and out would you like to see? If you owned it how would you design it? What would you do to make people go " WOW!!" and talk about it to other people?
We will carry fish ( fresh and salt), small animals ( can't sell ferrets or gerbils in CA. it is illegal.) Small birds & reptials.
As far as kids are concerned, it is illegal to sell any pets or pet related items to a child under the age of 18 in Ca. or the store could be fined 2,000.00 per child. Ouch! What would you do about that and still make it "kid friendly"? ideas??

I am going on paydot.com and wanting to promote their products as an affiliate - when the link comes up - I am supposed to advertise it someowhere - this is where my husband and I are completely lost. I know for a fact there are tons of people doing this kind of job to make some extra money for themselves. if someone can explain to me where to go after I have the link and what to do next I would truly appreciate it. What would be the advantages/disadvantages of having both personal and business account with the same bank vs. having the with different banks?

I've been studying the nightclub industry for a while and have been learning what works and what doesn't at nightclubs all around the country. I have an idea for a nightclub that is different than all of the others in the Los Angeles area and I think it will have a large appeal.
